A 'Welcome to Country' is a small, formal ceremony where Traditional Custodians welcome people to their land.
The ceremony involves a statement or a speech made in Aboriginal dialect, translated for those in attendance, to show respect to the Traditional Custodians of the land.
At this ceremony, the Traditional Custodians give their blessing to the event taking place on the land. How this ceremony is best conducted may vary according to the location of the event and the traditional practices of the Aboriginal community.
'Welcome to Country' will be a unique and culturally inspiring addition to your event or opening ceremony and is the perfect way to welcome your guests, especially international visitors, to Australia.
Making a booking
When you are ready to make a booking, select the day and time you would like to book and fill out the booking details. If your requested date and time are available, our team will respond with a confirmation of your booking or otherwise contact you to discuss other options.
Please note that we require a minimum of 7 days notice to book a Welcome to Country.
Bookings are extremely popular and we recommend booking at least one month in advance to avoid disappointment.
